Boiler Service, Repair & Rentals in Ontario

Our teams in Aurora, Ottawa and Hamilton service, repair and supply parts for industrial, commercial and institutional boilers across Ontario. All three offer 24/7 emergency response, and rental boilers when a plant can’t wait.

Who serves your plant in Ontario

Three branches serve Ontario. Thermogenics in Aurora, founded in 1975, is the head office and Thermocoil factory, and covers Toronto, York, Durham and Central Ontario. Thermogenics Ottawa covers Eastern Ontario from Kingston east. Union Boiler, a Hamilton company since 1966, joined Thermogenics in 2025 and covers Mississauga, Halton, Niagara and west toward Sarnia.

Each team does the same core work: planned maintenance, emergency repair, parts and rental boilers. Call the branch closest to your plant, and that branch’s team handles the job. If the work needs a specialist, a part or a temporary boiler, the other branches back them up.

Codes & inspections

TSSA inspections and Ontario’s boiler rules

In Ontario, the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) administers the Technical Standards and Safety Act, 2000. That includes the Boilers and Pressure Vessels regulation (O. Reg. 220/01), which covers design registration, inspection and certificates of inspection, and the Operating Engineers regulation (O. Reg. 219/01). Our teams prepare boilers for inspection and repair deficiencies.

Frequently asked questions

Questions from Ontario customers

Our boiler is down. Which Ontario branch do we call?

Call the branch nearest your plant. Aurora covers Toronto, York, Durham and Central Ontario. Union Boiler covers Mississauga, Halton, Niagara and west toward Sarnia. Ottawa covers Eastern Ontario.

Can you get our boiler ready for its TSSA inspection?

Before the inspector arrives, our team services the boiler and tests its safety devices, including low-water cutoffs, flame safeguards and relief valves. We also repair any deficiencies the inspection turns up.

Can we rent a boiler in Ontario for a shutdown?

All three Ontario branches arrange rental boilers for shutdowns through the Thermogenics containerized fleet and partner inventory. A rental can also cover a breakdown, a retrofit or a seasonal peak.

What should we check before an Ontario winter?

Book a fall tune-up with combustion analysis, plus checks on condensate return and freeze protection, before the heating season. Toronto’s January design temperature is about -20 °C and Ottawa’s is about -25 °C, and boiler load peaks in those months.
