A boiler failure stops production at a food or process plant and leaves a hospital or campus without heat in January. When you call, our Ottawa team starts by getting the boiler safely back in service, or getting temporary steam in place, and then works out why it failed. A lot of the time the issue isn't the boiler, it's the system. A low-water trip may come from a feed pump, a stuck trap or a condensate return problem.
Our repair work includes retubing and coil changes, refractory repair, burner and controls faults, flame safeguard and low-water cutoff failures, leaking valves and gaskets, and pump problems. We work on all makes, models and types: firetube, watertube, coil-tube and hot-water boilers.
Fix the failure, then find the cause
Replacing the failed part alone often means the same failure comes back. Once the boiler is running, we look at water treatment, blowdown, condensate return, steam trap condition and burner set-up. We then explain what caused the failure and what it would take to prevent it, so you can decide what to fix now and what to leave for the next shutdown.
