Our preventive maintenance plans run monthly, quarterly or annually, matched to how hard your boilers work. On each visit our technicians clean and inspect the boiler, check combustion and tune the burner, and test the safety controls: low-water cutoffs, flame safeguards, limits and gas train valves. We work on Thermogenics, Fulton, Cleaver-Brooks and Vapor boilers, and on Weishaupt, Riello, Maxon and Limpsfield burners.
Ontario boilers are registered and inspected under the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA), and we schedule annual overhauls around that inspection. We open the boiler, inspect tubes or coils, refractory and gaskets, rebuild what needs it and close it up ready for the inspector. Cold winters put heating plants under full load for months, so we aim to finish that work before the heating season starts.
Steam traps, feedwater and efficiency upgrades
Steam trap surveys find traps that are blowing steam or holding back condensate. We also check deaerators, feedwater and condensate return, pumps and water treatment feed, because a failing trap or a starved feed pump shortens boiler life as much as a dirty fireside. Where the savings support it, we recommend efficiency upgrades such as O2 trim, new burner controls from Autoflame, Siemens or Fireye, or a Thermiser economizer.
We also handle start-up, commissioning and operator training on new boilers, deaerators and thermal fluid systems, with engineering support for thermal fluid heaters from the team that designs them. Operators learn the controls before we leave site and know what to watch for between our visits.
