Union Boiler’s Hamilton team maintains and repairs steam and hydronic boilers for Mississauga plants, with 24/7 emergency repair, piping, parts and rental boilers through the Thermogenics network. We hold TSSA and CWB credentials, and our technicians are PK certified.
Mississauga is part of our Hamilton team’s service area, and we serve it from our base on Niagara Street. Our technicians make the trip for emergency calls and planned maintenance alike.
Our monthly and quarterly maintenance plans come with fixed labour rates and priority scheduling. With in-house welding, steel fabrication and process and gas piping, our own team handles the boiler and the pipework connected to it. If a boiler has to come out of service, we can set up a rental unit from the Thermogenics network at your Mississauga site.
Mississauga is covered by our Hamilton team
Mississauga has pharmaceutical plants, large food processors, hospitals, campuses and a large warehousing district. Some of these sites need process steam all year; others depend on boilers mainly for winter heat.
Many pharmaceutical companies run Canadian headquarters and plants here. We maintain the boilers, burners and controls behind their process heat and do the process piping.
Large food plants in Mississauga and Brampton use steam for cooking, cleaning and sanitation, and production stops when the steam does. We plan maintenance around production schedules and handle emergency breakdowns.
The city’s hospitals need heat, hot water and steam for sterilization and humidification every hour of the year. We service hydronic and steam plants, burners and Honeywell and Fireye controls.
University and college campuses in Mississauga run central heating plants and building boilers through long winters. Our maintenance plans and seasonal heating service get those systems checked before the cold weather.
Many distribution centres here heat large spaces with boilers and hydronic loops. As hydronic specialists, we service the boilers, pumps and piping that keep docks and loading areas workable in winter.
Preventive maintenance for hydronic and steam boilers on monthly, quarterly, annual or bi-annual schedules. The monthly plan covers 11 inspections plus the annual inspection; the quarterly plan covers 3 inspections plus an annual maintenance visit.
Maintenance from HamiltonEmergency boiler repair 24/7, plus retubing, refractory work, pump and heat exchanger repair, and burner and controls service on PK, Riello, Weishaupt and Cleaver-Brooks burners with Honeywell and Fireye controls.
Repair servicesOur trucks carry valves, pumps, controls and gaskets, and we keep top-brand and OEM parts in stock, mainly for hydronic systems. We also supply Thermogenics and Fulton equipment when a boiler needs replacing.
Parts & suppliesRental boilers come through the Thermogenics network: Thermocoil units from 150 HP to 500 HP at 250 psig MAWP, firing natural gas, propane or No. 2 oil, plus complete boiler rooms, feedwater tanks, pumps and stacks, with delivery, setup and commissioning.
Rental boilers & fleetIn Ontario, the TSSA administers the Technical Standards and Safety Act, 2000. The Boilers and Pressure Vessels regulation (O. Reg. 220/01) covers design registration, inspection and certificates of inspection, and the Operating Engineers regulation (O. Reg. 219/01) covers licensing of operating engineers.
Mississauga’s January design temperature is about -20 °C, so heating boilers run hard for months and a failure in a cold snap leaves a building cold quickly. Process boilers keep running through humid summers, and the warm months are the time for retubing, refractory work and burner upgrades.

Our technicians hold confined space, lock-out tag-out, hot work permit and arc flash training, and our CWB credentials and in-house welding keep complex pipework with one team.
