Brockville is covered by our Ottawa team
Brockville’s steam demand splits between process plants and institutions. Manufacturers along Highway 401, food and ingredient processing at Cardinal and chemical production at Maitland need steady process steam. The hospital, college campus and long-term care homes need heat through a long winter.
Consumer-products and industrial plants along Highway 401 use steam for process heat, cleaning and space heating. We maintain and repair boilers, burners and controls for plants like these.
Corn wet-milling at nearby Cardinal uses process steam continuously, and a boiler outage stops production. We plan maintenance around production runs.
Chemical plants at Maitland on the St. Lawrence need steady steam pressure for process heating. We do combustion and safety checks, controls work and repairs on process steam boilers.
The city’s hospital and mental health centre need heat, hot water and steam every day of the year. A monthly maintenance plan with priority scheduling fits that load.
The college campus, schools and long-term care homes run heating boilers hard all winter. We book inspections and overhauls for the warmer months, before the heating season starts.
Choose a monthly plan (11 inspections plus 1 annual inspection a year) or a quarterly plan (3 inspections plus 1 annual maintenance visit). Both come with fixed labour rates and priority scheduling. We also offer an annual steam trap survey.

Rental boilers & fleetBoilers and pressure vessels in Brockville fall under the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA). It administers the Boilers and Pressure Vessels regulation, O. Reg. 220/01, covering design registration, inspection and certificates of inspection, and the Operating Engineers regulation, O. Reg. 219/01. We perform annual overhauls with the inspector present and the boiler open for inspection.
January design temperatures around -23 °C keep heating plants near full fire for long stretches. Cold combustion air shifts burner tuning, and exposed condensate, feedwater and makeup lines need freeze protection. Before the heating season we test low-water cutoffs and flame safeguards, check refractory and tune combustion.
