Industries we serve
Theme parks and hospitality lead the work in Central Florida, alongside hospitals, food and beverage, and manufacturing. With little space-heating demand here, these facilities rely on steam and hot water for laundry, kitchens, sterilization, humidification and process heat, year-round.

Boiler maintenance
Boiler Maintenance & Inspections Across Central Florida
Central Florida boilers carry hot water, laundry, sterilization and process steam every month of the year, with no heating season to rest them. Planned maintenance keeps them out of emergency mode. Choose a monthly plan (eleven inspections plus the annual), a quarterly plan (three inspections plus the annual) or the annual inspection on its own, performed with your government authority or insurance inspector present.
At each annual visit we reseal the boiler with new gaskets, check the system for worn or failed components, and test the burner for efficiency and safety. Plan customers get priority scheduling and fixed labor rates. We share every inspection detail with you.
Why a plan pays for itself
Regular maintenance catches small issues early, extends equipment life and keeps energy use down. Hospitals feel this most, because a boiler that supports sterilization and humidification can’t go down unexpectedly. A lot of the time the issue isn’t the boiler, it’s the system. Steam traps left 3–5 years can have 15–30% failed, and regular surveys can bring that under 5%.
Boilers lose efficiency as they age, and maintenance can’t always recover it. For older equipment, we add efficiency upgrades like linkageless controls, panel and level-control upgrades, VFDs and low-NOx burners, and can pair them with a free boiler room energy survey to show where the savings are.
Every service vehicle is stocked with essential tools and components, so repairs aren’t held up waiting on parts. We work on Cleaver-Brooks, Johnston, Fulton, Lattner and Lochinvar equipment, and on every other make, model and type of boiler.
We stabilize the system and restore operation first, then trace the cause of the failure and how to stop it happening again. Our work runs from burners and burner conversions to controls troubleshooting, retubing, refractory and piping.
Ready for the repair before we arrive
The Orlando shop backs up the service vehicles with the parts repairs call for most. Our technicians repair steam, hot water and thermal fluid systems, from older legacy boilers to modern high-efficiency models.
Our pump rebuild program overhauls failed pumps, and with long lead times on new Grundfos pumps and kits, a rebuild is often the faster path.
From basic faults like flame failures and low-water conditions to complex mechanical issues, always traced to the root cause.

Containerized rental boilers
Thermogenics rental boilers travel in standard sea-can containers on regular trucks. Plan for a crane or lowboy trailer to set the unit.

Boiler rentals
Boiler Rentals Across Central Florida
Most rental calls start with a failure that means a long or costly repair. New boilers can take months to deliver, and a rental keeps the plant running in the meantime. Planned outages can be covered too, with rentals running from as little as 8–10 days to several months.
Through Thermogenics, we supply containerized steam, hot water and thermal fluid rental boilers, plus partner inventory when the size you need isn’t in the fleet. The units ship in standard sea-can containers, so there are no oversize escort loads, but they need a crane or a rented lowboy trailer to set. For serious inquiries we get someone on site quickly to plan placement, then set up the unit and support it while it’s on rent. Plan the steam connection early. If there’s no line stubbed out with a valve on it, piping alone can take weeks.
Rental boiler specs
Standalone Thermogenics rental boilers run 150–500 HP, built to a standard 250 psig MAWP design and operated from 70 to 225 psig. Larger units, complete boiler rooms, feedwater tanks, pumps and water treatment are available on request.

Can you work on our Cleaver-Brooks or Johnston boiler?
Yes. We service all makes, models and types of boilers, including Cleaver-Brooks, Johnston, Fulton, Lattner and Lochinvar, and Industrial Engineering is a formal rep for Johnston Boiler. We also work on the burners and controls that go with them, from Power Flame and Weishaupt burners to Honeywell and Fireye controls.
What credentials do you hold for boiler repair in Florida?
Industrial Engineering holds a National Board R-stamp, authorizing repairs and alterations to boilers and pressure vessels, and is a Florida State Certified Mechanical Contractor, CM-C1249246. We are also registered with Avetta and ISNetworld for plants that require contractor safety prequalification.
Which Florida agency oversees our boiler inspections?
The Florida Division of State Fire Marshal – Boiler Safety Program, which administers the Boiler Safety Act, Chapter 554 of the Florida Statutes, under rules in Chapter 69A-51, F.A.C. It covers construction, installation, inspection and repair, with a focus on boilers in public assembly locations.
Our resort runs laundry and kitchens all year. How do you keep the boilers reliable?
A monthly plan fits most hotels and attractions, since Central Florida boilers don’t get a heating-season break. That means eleven inspections plus the annual, with combustion tuning on each visit. We add steam trap surveys to cut wasted steam and keep critical spares on hand in the Orlando shop.
Can we rent a boiler from you?
Yes. We supply containerized steam, hot water and thermal fluid rental boilers through Thermogenics, plus partner inventory. We’ll ask about your process, pressure, fuel, voltage, water and where the unit will sit, then get someone on site quickly to plan placement and set it up.
How far out do you travel?
Our Orlando team covers roughly 150 miles north and 250 miles south of Orlando, from Ocala down to Fort Myers and Miami. Sister branch Yown’s Boiler Service in Jacksonville covers more of the Southeast.
Is Industrial Engineering still the team we call?
Yes. Industrial Engineering joined Thermogenics in 2023. It’s the same Orlando team, phone number and email, now backed by the Thermogenics rental fleet, parts sourcing and sister branches across North America.
