Industrial Engineering has been Central Florida’s steam specialist since 1948 and is now part of Thermogenics. Our Orlando team handles repair, maintenance, parts and rental boilers for hospitals, resorts, campuses and process plants in Fort Myers.
Fort Myers is part of our Orlando team’s service area. Our technicians come to Fort Myers from our shop on North John Young Parkway in Orlando. Each truck carries essential tools and components, and the shop’s parts stock backs it up.
We build monthly, quarterly or annual maintenance plans around your operation, with priority scheduling and fixed labor rates. When a boiler has to come out of service, we can bring in a rental unit.

Parts & suppliesRentals come from the Thermogenics fleet: steam, hot water and thermal fluid boilers, plus complete boiler rooms, feedwater tanks, pumps and water treatment systems. We handle setup and support the unit while it runs.
Rental boilers & fleetFlorida’s Boiler Safety Act, Chapter 554 of the Florida Statutes, has been in place since 1987. The Boiler Safety Section of the Division of State Fire Marshal administers it under Chapter 69A-51, F.A.C., covering construction, installation, inspection and repair, with a focus on boilers in public assembly locations.
Constant duty is only part of the picture on the Gulf Coast. Humid, salty air corrodes burner linkages, controls and exposed piping, and heat in mechanical rooms shortens the life of electronics. During hurricane season, a boiler that has taken on water needs its burner, controls and refractory inspected before it is fired again.

Yes. Rentals from the Thermogenics fleet are delivered anywhere in the Southeast, Fort Myers included. Standalone units run from 150 to 500 HP, built to a 250 psig MAWP design and operating from 70 to 225 psig, with larger units on request. We handle setup and support the unit once it is running.
