Industrial Engineering, Thermogenics’ Orlando branch, repairs, maintains and rents boilers for Melbourne hospitals, aerospace plants and other facilities that run on steam and hot water.
Melbourne is part of our Orlando team’s service area. Our technicians come from the Industrial Engineering shop on North John Young Parkway in Orlando, by SR 528 (the Beachline) and I-95. They handle emergency repairs, tune-ups, controls troubleshooting and scheduled maintenance plans.
The Orlando shop stocks burner parts, gauge glass, gaskets, boiler tubes, relief valves, pumps, steam traps and water level controls.
Melbourne is covered by our Orlando team
Melbourne’s economy centers on aerospace and defense manufacturing, with the launch industry up the coast, a military presence, a major hospital system and a technical university. Heating loads are light here, and these sites use hot water and steam year-round.
Production floors, labs and clean areas use steam for humidification, process heat and hot water. We plan work around production and test schedules.
Sterilizers, kitchens, laundries and domestic hot water all depend on steady steam. We service redundant boiler plants and test low-water cutoffs and flame safeguards.
Campus plants feed labs, dining halls and residence halls, often with long condensate returns. We tune burners, survey steam traps and schedule larger work around the academic calendar.
For base and government facilities, we hold a Florida State Certified Mechanical Contractor license (CM-C1249246) and National Board R-stamp repair authority.
Beachside hotels and the hospitality trade around the cruise port use boilers for laundry, kitchens and guest hot water. Hospitality is a core market for our team.
Monthly (11 inspections plus annual), quarterly (3 plus annual) and annual plans include priority scheduling and fixed labor rates. The annual inspection is done with the government authority or insurance inspector present. Ask about a free boiler room energy survey with a written report.
Maintenance from OrlandoWe restore service first, then track down the cause of the failure. Our technicians repair all makes, including Cleaver-Brooks, Johnston, Fulton, Lattner and Lochinvar, plus burners and controls from Power Flame, Webster, Weishaupt, Autoflame and Fireye. We also handle re-tubing, refractory and R-stamp repairs.
Repair servicesWe supply replacement parts for all boilers, from brands such as McDonnell & Miller, Magnetrol, Spence, Kunkle, Grundfos and Maxitrol. Order by phone at 407-293-9317 or by email at info@ieboilers.com.
Parts & suppliesWe arrange rental steam, hot water and thermal fluid boilers from the Thermogenics fleet, along with complete boiler rooms, feedwater tanks and pumps. Every unit comes with expert setup and 24/7 support.
Rental boilers & fleetFlorida’s Boiler Safety Act, Chapter 554 (Florida Statutes), was enacted in 1987 and is administered by the Boiler Safety Section of the Division of State Fire Marshal under rules in Chapter 69A-51, F.A.C. It covers construction, installation, inspection and repair, with a focus on boilers in public assembly locations.
Salt air attacks burner linkages, control enclosures, stacks and insulation jacketing, and humid boiler rooms are hard on idle standby units. With mild winters, boilers here mostly carry hot water, laundry, sterilization and process steam, often at light loads that cause short cycling. Our steam trap surveys find failed traps.
