Boiler failures often start small: a low-water cutoff that sticks, a flame safeguard that drifts, scale building on the water side. Our maintenance visits are set up to catch those early. We clean firesides and water sides, test safety controls, take combustion readings and check refractory, then tell you plainly what needs attention and what can wait until the next planned outage.
Service agreements are fully customizable. Some plants want monthly visits, others quarterly, and some only need help with the annual inspection and overhaul. We set the schedule around your load and your shutdown windows. Ohio winters put the heaviest demand on heating and process boilers, so we aim to finish combustion tuning and safety checks before temperatures drop.
System audits and efficiency upgrades
Many boiler problems start elsewhere in the steam system. A system audit or energy assessment covers combustion readings plus the steam and condensate side: steam traps, deaerator, feedwater and blowdown. On a large hospital or campus plant, a small efficiency gain can be worth far more than the audit.
Efficiency upgrades usually start at the burner. We fit and commission Autoflame combustion management, add O2 trim and tune burners for better turndown and lower fuel use. We schedule upgrade work during planned outages so production keeps running.
