Rental boilers & fleetNorth Carolina regulates boilers and pressure vessels under the Uniform Boiler and Pressure Vessel Act, administered by the North Carolina Department of Labor’s Boiler Safety Bureau. Our quarterly and annual inspections get safety controls tested before the inspector arrives.
Raleigh’s humid subtropical climate brings mild winters and a long, humid season when many heating boilers sit idle or run at low fire. A boiler left wet while idle can corrode, and short cycling at light load wears burners and refractory. Ice storms occasionally knock out power, and burner management and flame safeguard controls should be checked for a clean restart after an outage.
