Frequently asked questions

Questions from North Carolina customers

Our boiler is down tonight. Can someone come out?

Yes. Our Greensboro team takes emergency calls 24/7 at 336-292-8477. Describe what the boiler is doing when you call. We restore steam first, then trace the cause of the failure.

How long is the drive from Greensboro to Raleigh or Charlotte?

About an hour and a half to either city. Raleigh is about 80 miles from our branch and Charlotte is about 85 miles. Winston-Salem is about 25 miles, around 40 minutes.

What should we have checked before the NCDOL inspector comes?

Low-water cutoffs, safety controls, flame safeguard operation and burner combustion. We test and tune these before a state or insurance inspector visits. If the report lists deficiencies, our team works through them with your maintenance staff.

Can you still get parts for older Continental or Cleaver-Brooks boilers?

Yes. We are the exclusive Continental Boiler parts dealer and hold records and drawings for Continental boilers built from 1950 to the mid-1970s. We stock rebuilt Cleaver-Brooks boiler doors and can rebuild an existing door on site. We are also an authorized Honeywell RM7800 stocking distributor.
