Kelowna’s semi-arid climate gives boilers two heavy seasons. Winters are colder than on the coast, with a January design temperature around -17 °C, so heating plants run near capacity and a failure risks frozen pipes. Summer brings peak production at wineries and packing houses. We recommend a pre-winter tune-up, and a rental if summer production outgrows your boiler.
