The Technical Safety Authority of Saskatchewan (TSASK) administers The Boiler and Pressure Vessel Act, 1999 for the province. It registers designs, inspects and certifies boilers and pressure vessels, and certifies power engineers. Our TSASK Certificate of Registration and Contractor’s License 0159-0001 means our repair and alteration work runs under an approved quality control system, and we prepare the recertification paperwork.
Prince Albert is among the coldest of Saskatchewan’s cities, with January lows frequently below -35 °C. At those temperatures a tripped boiler can lead to frozen coils, burst piping and lost production. Many winter failures start outside the boiler, with starved combustion air, frozen condensate lines or untreated makeup water. We schedule inspections and tune-ups before the heating season starts.
