Yown’s Boiler Service works on steam and process boilers across North Florida and South Georgia. Our boiler mechanics, code welders and pipefitters handle repairs, maintenance, retubing, refractory, controls, parts and rental boilers for Brunswick plants.

Parts & suppliesRental boilers come through the Thermogenics network: units from 150 to 500 HP, rated at 250 psig MAWP, firing natural gas, propane or No. 2 oil. We handle installation, start-up and ongoing support for emergency and planned outages.
Rental boilers & fleetIn Georgia, boilers and pressure vessels are regulated by the Office of Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner under O.C.G.A. Title 25, Chapter 15 and rule chapter 120-3-26. Inspections are done by the state Safety Engineering Section, an insurance company or an owner-user agency. We get boilers ready for annual insurance inspections and complete the repairs an inspector calls for.
Brunswick’s winters are mild, so many boilers run at light load for much of the year and cycle on and off. Short cycling wastes fuel and wears burners and refractory. Salt air corrodes burner linkages, control panels, electrical connections and casings, and humidity, pollen and lint clog air intakes and fan guards.
