How does Thermogenics approach safety on the job?
Safety is our #1 core value. Every Boiler Service Technician, Field service technician, Pipefitter, Boiler fitter, and all other roles on our team holds the certifications and training needed to work safely on any job site , protecting our employees, customers, and the public. All technicians are certified in: Working at Heights, WHMIS, OHSA, Confined Space Entry, Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO), Fall Arrest, Hot Work Permits, and ARC Flash. Several of our locations are also members of ISNetworld, Avetta, and PEC/Veriforce, globally recognized safety and compliance networks.
What brands of boilers will I work on?
We are agnostic, so you’ll work across a wide range of commercial and industrial equipment: Clayton, Vapor Boiler, Cleaver-Brooks, Fulton, Bryan, Miura, Burnham, and more. Whether you’re a Boiler installer, Boiler Service Technician, or Boiler fitter, you’ll gain exposure to multiple systems and technologies.
What is the on-call rotation schedule?
It varies by location and team size, but rotations are always communicated in advance and shared fairly across the team. You’re never on your own. Our dispatch and technical support teams back up our boiler service technicians and field service technicians around the clock.
Is there travel involved?
Most boiler service technicians and field service technicians work within a local service territory and dispatch from home. Occasional travel may come up for training or site commissioning, and all expenses are covered when it does.
Do I need my own tools and vehicle?
We provide our boiler service technicians with specialized tools required for the job. Service technicians are also provided with a company vehicle to service technicians and dispatch from home.

What training and certifications does Thermogenics provide?
Training is built into our culture. Every technician goes through comprehensive in-house training that broadens their skill set and prepares them to handle a wide range of issues , efficiently and confidently. We invest in continuous, ongoing training, both in-house and externally, keeping our team sharp and up to date across multiple brands and systems. Whether you’re an experienced boiler fitter or just starting out, we offer factory training on multiple brands, combustion tuning and controls development, and apprenticeship and licensing support.
Do you have an apprenticeship program for boiler service technicians?
Yes. We run a full apprenticeship program to develop service technicians, giving them hands-on experience and a clear path to growing their career with us.
What certifications and specializations does your team hold?
Our team brings diverse backgrounds and credentials to the table, including ASME weld certifications, mechanical expertise, and specialization in combustion and burner systems.
